Marathon Capital is pleased to announce it has advised Competitive Power Ventures (CPV), a developer and owner of low carbon and renewable projects in the United States, on the PTC tax equity financing for its 80 MWAC Stagecoach solar project located in Macon County, Georgia. This transaction was CPV’s second solar tax equity financing with U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance as the tax equity investor.
Marathon Capital served as CPV’s exclusive financial advisor, providing financial modeling, structuring, due diligence, and negotiation support throughout the transaction process.
CPV has 25 years of experience developing, owning, and operating electric power generating assets. Since 2010, CPV has developed 5.3 GW of natural gas, wind, and solar generation facilities, and has a current pipeline of over 10 GW of renewable and dispatchable generation projects.
