Marathon Capital, LLC (“Marathon Capital”) announces it has advised Opdenergy, an independent renewable energy producer headquartered in Madrid, on a $252 million project financing for two under construction solar projects. The 100 MW “Blake” project located in Jefferson County, West Virginia is fully contracted under a 15-year PPA with AEP Energy Partners, and the 160 MW “Elizabeth” project located in Allen Parish, Louisiana is fully contracted under a 20-year PPA with Entergy Louisiana. BBVA, Intesa Sanpaolo, and MUFG acted as Joint Lead Arrangers. Tax Equity commitments were provided by RBC Community Investments, LLC.
