Daniel Titterington

Daniel Titterington, Vice President of Tax & Policy, is based in Marathon Capital’s Chicago office. He supports tax equity and tax credit initiatives within the clean energy sector while providing expert policy support across various Marathon Capital engagements and product groups.

Since joining Marathon Capital in 2020, Daniel has played a pivotal role in advising on a range of significant transactions. Notable highlights include Nestle’s tax equity investments in Enel’s Ganado & Stampede solar + storage projects, MAS Energy’s preferred equity & debt capital raises, placement of tax equity financing for Northstar Clean Energy’s Project Newport with US Bank, and a 45Q tax credit transfer sale for a re-powered CCUS project.

Prior to his tenure at Marathon Capital, Daniel served as a U.S. Army Infantry Captain at various duty stations across the United States. In this role, he led numerous teams and planned operations domestically and across Eastern Europe.

Daniel's academic background includes a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Cornell University. Daniel holds his Series 63 and 79 licenses.
