Chris Fischer

Chris Fischer, Vice President, Debt Capital Solutions, is based in Marathon Capital’s New York office. He is a part of the Debt Capital Solutions team supporting the origination and execution of advisory and transaction mandates.

Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Chris was Corporate Development Manager at Field Energy, a technology-enabled energy infrastructure platform focused on grid-scale battery storage. He played a key role in securing more than $400 million of capital to support the company’s growth and expansion, contributing to equity capital raises and leading the execution of structured debt financings and strategic M&A transactions across energy storage and infrastructure assets. His experience includes non-recourse project financings, acquisitions of ready-to-build storage projects, and structuring capital solutions across corporate and project levels.

Earlier in his career, Chris worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London within the Corporate Finance and Debt Restructuring teams, advising infrastructure and technology clients on M&A, financings, and restructurings across EMEA.

Chris received a BA in Economics from Durham University, UK. He is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and holds a Sustainable Investing Certificate from the CFA Institute. He speaks fluent German and conversational Spanish.
