James Fitzgerald, Head of Institutional Sales, is based in Marathon Capital’s New York office. He will be leading the continued roll out of Marathon’s Equity Research product to institutional investors. This includes growing relationships with institutional investors, creating value added investor and corporate events, and marketing equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings to institutional investors.

Prior to joining Marathon Capital, James was Executive Director, Institutional Sales for Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. where he was responsible for coverage of energy dedicated and generalist hedge fund, long only, private equity, and family office clients in the NYC Metro area, Midwest, and Canada. Before that, James was Senior Institutional Equity Sales for Sidoti & Company, where he covered institutional asset manager clients in the NYC metro area, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Detroit, and St. Louis.

James earned a BS in Business Administration/Finance from Marist College. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses and completed the IIROC New Entrants Course.
