Jimmy Kemper, Vice President, is based in Marathon Capital’s Chicago office. He is responsible for executing M&A and capital raise engagements in the renewable power and cleantech sectors, conducting due diligence, and supporting Marathon Capital’s relationship management responsibilities.

Since joining Marathon Capital in 2017, Jimmy has advised on numerous transformative M&A and equity capital raising transactions such as the sale of EnCap Investments’ portfolio company Triple Oak Power to Energy Capital Partners, Perch Energy’s Series B equity capital raise led by Nuveen, SunPower’s sale of its C&I Solutions business to TotalEnergies for up to $250 million, the sale of Adapture Renewables Inc. (f/k/a Enerparc Inc.) to KIRKBI A/S, the sale of Convergent Energy + Power to Energy Capital Partners, and the sale of Aypa Power (f/k/a NRStor C&I) to Blackstone.

Jimmy holds a BA in Economics and English Literature from the University of Notre Dame. He holds Series 63 and 79 licenses.
