Ezra Kauffman

Ezra Kauffman, Vice President, Debt Capital Markets, is based in New York City and part of the Debt Capital Markets team supporting the origination and execution of advisory and transaction mandates.

Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Ezra was Vice President on the Infrastructure Finance team at ING where he led the origination and underwriting of senior debt financings across a diverse range of infrastructure subsectors, including district energy, electric vehicle charging, energy terminals, regulated utilities, and transportation. During this time, he worked on project finance transactions across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America exceeding $15bn in combined value —several of which were honored with IJGlobal Deal of the Year awards. In addition, he also structured multiple HoldCo and development facilities to support innovative infrastructure growth. Prior to ING, Ezra worked on the Project Development team at New Leaf Energy and at Procore Technologies.

Ezra earned his BA in Economic History and German Studies, with a research focus on German economic and environmental policy from Wesleyan University.
