Kelsey Zempel, Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner, is based in Marathon Capital’s Chicago office. She provides HR support for the Chicago office and partners with the Chief of Staff on junior banker program management. She also provides oversight to Marathon’s campus recruiting initiatives.

Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Kelsey was an HR Project Manager at JLL within the People Solutions & Experience division, which focused on the execution of value-add HR services for the JLL new business pursuit process, including talent management, onboarding, and seamless integration into the organizational structure. Prior to JLL, she worked at Revantage, a Blackstone company, as a People Operations Partner driving change management and process improvements to enhance the employee experience.

Kelsey earned her BS in Psychology and Business from Texas Christian University.
