Nelle McNicholas, Meeting & Events Manager, is based in Marathon Capital’s Chicago office. She manages the firm’s internal and external events, conference sponsorships and attendance, business development dinners, and closing celebrations.

Nelle joined Marathon Capital in June of 2022 as a Meeting and Events Coordinator. Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Nelle was a meeting and event planner at Lions Clubs International (LCI). She was responsible for six annual Board of Directors meetings and ad-hoc meetings and events. As part of the convention team, Nelle also assisted in the planning and execution of LCI’s annual international convention. Prior to LCI, Nelle worked as an event coordinator in Aspen, Colorado, where she focused on corporate events and retreats.

Nelle holds a BA in Journalism and a minor in Art History from Indiana University.
