Sime Jurac, Vice President, Business Development & Strategy, is based in Marathon Capital’s New York office. As a Strategy team member, Sime works with senior bankers on individual origination planning and group calling initiatives, conducts business and market analysis to assist the management team in strategic planning, and maintains relationships with various data providers and vendors.

Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Sime led commercial growth and client engagement for BloombergNEF (BNEF), Bloomberg LPs strategic research and economic analysis unit working on the pathways for the power, transport, industry, buildings, and agriculture sectors to adapt to the energy transition. In this role, he developed relationships with corporate strategy, finance, policy, and commodity trading professionals across corporations, financial institutions, and governments. Sime also led the client-facing product development, go-to-market strategy, and commercial success of BNEFs Advanced Transport (E-mobility) and Ag & Land Use research, working closely with the strategy, product, and content teams.

Sime graduated from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management and holds a BS in Finance and Marketing.
