Tom Imus, Assistant Vice President, Strategy & Operations, and Deputy Chief of Staff, is based in Marathon Capital’s San Francisco office. He is responsible for supporting Marathon Capital's leadership and executing strategic initiatives through business analysis, knowledge management, materials preparation, and cross-functional coordination. He is also responsible for management of Marathon’s junior banking staff.

Tom began his Marathon Capital career as an Investment Banking Analyst, where he was responsible for conducting research and due diligence, authoring marketing and offering materials, preparing financial analysis, and creating financial models in support of Marathon Capital’s senior bankers. He supported the successful execution of a number of M&A and Capital Raise transactions, including the sale of Heelstone Renewable Energy's utility-scale solar portfolio to US Solar Fund, PosiGen's Series D Growth Equity Raise, and MAS Energy's Preferred Equity + Debt Capital Raise.

Tom holds BBAs in Finance and Marketing and a Certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds his Series 63 and 79 licenses.
