Will Owens, Senior Advisor for Marathon Capital, is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Prior to joining Marathon Capital, Will was a co-founder of Heelstone Renewable Energy, LLC, a utility-scale solar developer. Before Heelstone, he was a Managing Director of Stonehenge Capital Company, LLC, a specialty finance and investment company. Prior to Stonehenge, Will was a corporate and securities attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, and before that was a judicial clerk with the Honorable Donald. E. Walter, United States District Court, Western District of Louisiana.

Will received a J.D., with honors from Southern Methodist University School of Law where he was a Staff Editor and Citations Editor of the Southern Methodist University Law Review. He earned a BA with honors from Washington and Lee University.
