Marathon Capital is pleased to announce it has advised Kyuden International Corporation (“KIC”), the global arm of Japan’s leading utility, Kyuden Group, on its equity investment in Tierra Seca and Seven Flags owned by Spearmint Energy. Located in Del Rio and Laredo, Texas, these 100 MW / 200 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems (“BESS”) deliver a major step forward in strengthening ERCOT’s grid reliability and enhancing energy resilience.
