Please read these guidelines carefully before you engage with our social media channels. By using or submitting material to our online communities, you agree that you accept these guidelines and agree to comply with them. You shall also remain subject to our Term and Conditions and Privacy Policy, although we note that Marathon Capital is not affiliated with any social media platform and your use of any social media channel shall also be subject to the respective policies and procedures of the relevant social media outlet.

Social Media Commenting Guidelines

• Your comments should be related to the topics posted on Marathon Capital´s social media accounts. Marathon Capital reserves the right to delete off-topic comments, and, for instance, will remove any marketing materials, commercial content, and other types of “spam” (such as comments that are posted repeatedly), and will ban users as appropriate.
• Only post content if you have the proper permission from its rightful owners. Marathon Capital is not responsible for any claims based on any materials you post and/or submit, including (without limitation) claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trade-mark infringement or any other intellectual property-related cause of action.

• By posting on Marathon Capital´s social media accounts, you grant us the right to use or reproduce your content. Additionally, any unsolicited ideas or suggestions you post on our social media pages will automatically become property of Marathon Capital without limitation, with no obligation for us to compensate you.
• Marathon Capital encourages comments and constructive debate, but please be respectful and relevant with what you post. Marathon Capital does not tolerate posts that are:
  • Abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening or attacking others
  • Defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar or depicting violence
  • References to upsetting or distressing subjects
  • Hateful in language
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, libelous, misleading or unlawful
  • References to criminal or illegal activity
  • Violations of any intellectual property rights
  • Viruses or programs that could damage the operation of other people’s computers
  • Commercial solicitations or solicitation of donations
• Marathon Capital reserves the right to remove any comments or content that doesn’t adhere to these guidelines or with any other applicable terms and conditions, policies, rules, or laws. Marathon Capital may also block users who violate the rules or otherwise abuse our social networks.
• Please do not share or send personal, confidential, account, or transaction information about yourself, specific investments, or others via social media.

• Marathon Capital is not responsible for the terms of use or privacy or security policies on social media accounts or other websites. You use those sites at your own risk.
